Emma & Stephen - Engagement

After a sneak peek back at the beginning of July, this morning it is my pleasure to share with you more Devonshire delights...
I got hopelessly lost trying to find the venue for this engagement shoot, winding country lanes became winding country tracks, became somebody (not the right body)'s drive way...it became a hunt for signal in the Devonshire countryside so I could ring Emma and get my flustered self some well needed expert direction...over the bridge, up the hill, follow the dinky partridge that was intent on scurrying in front of my car for half a mile, over the track...and wow was I rewarded as I pulled up to the delight that is Oxton House to be met by the even more delightful, Emma & Stephen.
From the moment Stephen attempted to cut the pork pie with a celery stick I knew it was going to be a relaxed and lovely afternoon. Emma & Stephen responded beautifully to my suggestions to make the shoot more personal by bringing a few bits and bobs along that are important to them, a picnic and boggle followed by a walk by the water and a little bit of sketching, it was a treat!

I am already more than a little bit excited about this gorgeous pair saying 'I do' in November.  x

Emma & Stephen

After what has been said to be the wettest of wet Junes in an exceedingly long time it is rather exciting to be editing an engagement shoot full of sunshine and summer loveliness! The 24th of June was a sunny sunny day and to top it off I got to spend the afternoon with this gorgeous couple Emma & Stephen in the equally gorgeous Devon!

I share with you the tiniest of sneek peeks...

Pop back soon to see their afternoon in all its country, picnic, riverside loveliness.

Happy Friday everyone! x
